Welcome to The Kiln Post. This is where Indigo Fire students, teachers, staff and friends of the studio can ask questions, receive updates and make connections with each other. You'll find information like glaze updates, kiln unloadings, student glaze results, new studio features, new studio policies, events, and any other topic the community may think to bring up.

Hi everyone and happy new year!!! Last year I made a custom pottery journal to track the projects I was working on in the studio. I received a lot of interest in them and decided to put them up on Etsy!! If your 2024 goals are to be more organized— maybe this is for you😊

some other notes about how I use my journal:
- the little date tracker is sized to fit the orange stickers that come out on the pieces! I find it so satisfying to stick them in my notebook once a piece comes out of the kiln
- On the project tracker pages there is a space for your “final piece”. I use an HP sprocket that prints out little 2x3 stickers from my phone so I have a little picture to reference.
- The format of the notebook is an A5 journal, so you can add, change or remove pages as you’d like!
- I’m also selling just the digital design file if you’d like to print it yourself (just haven’t gotten that Etsy page up and running yet!) feel free to comment here if that’s something you’re interested in :)
